STARKREISEN: Sinai

It is a sound track of The Prince of Egypt.

When I heard the song, the memory of the choir competition in my Frenshman age is coming back again~

I suggested you can take look of this sound track first, to take a look the Sinai in the cartoon, then you can compare the real and the painting one.
I believed everyone heard the story of Moses who helped Herbrew running out of Egypt.
And I visited many sites of this story in the old Bible this time.
It is quite amazing~
Moreover, I thought Mt. Sinai (西奈山) is the best place of Egypt!!!
To see the sunrise of the Mt. Sinai, to walk the same track as those people in 4000 years before, what else you can blame?
Well~ I didn't see the Decalog (十誡) on the top of Mountain la~ pity~

In order to see the sunrise of Sinai, we have to sacrifice our sleep and prepare to climb the mouatain.

It may be the toughest part of our trip.

We left Dahab on 23:00, and arrived the food of the hill on 01:30.

Guess what~ That's right, we should start to climb the mountain la!!!!

There were so many others groups, for example France, German, and India.

It's so surprising that there are so many elders.

Did they know that it is be a tough job for a young man, not to mention them. XD

I thought I worried too much.

When we climb the mountain, there are so many camels waiting on the side to carry on people.

They will be the saver for those elders I thought.

It's quite interesting that we have to watch out the shit of camel and the stones when we climb.

Well~ don't forget there is no light on the mountain, we can use our tiny flashlight to point out the direction only.

It's really remarkble I think....

The last 30% of the mountain was the toughest part, even though the elders should get off the camel to climb by theirselves.

I was so happy about that, on the other hand, I know that I will have a difficult time for that...

I remembered my legs were shacking, and the sound of my mind just keep saying: You can do it!

I made it~ we were there!

Our speed climbing the mountain is really quick, we are almost the first team arriving the mountain.

And that will be 4:30.

The next challenge is coming, it's so cold on the mountain.

We need to wait until the sunrise... oh man...

That's why there are so many venders trying to lend blankets for people there.

I just did my best to fight the cold, and I am so proud that I didn't spend the extra money for that.

When the sunrise came out, people start to take photos to remember the great work of god.

The hansonest Arabian in the world. I an Raymond all agreed with that. He asked us to stop or to go all the time. Surprisingly. no one said something to refuse or what. As we take a deep breathe, he just look like nothing happening... And take a close look of his shoes... how can he climb so fast and stable..
